PAWS-Mumbai youngest volunteer Hitesh Yadav with rescued injured Common House Sparrow by him

Hitesh Yadav Student of NES School & Youngest Member of PAWS-Mumbai have rescued Sparrow which was hanging on wall in an manja. It’s one wing is got injury. 

PAWS-Mumbai appeal to the citizen not to fly kites by using glass coated thread or Chinese thread is available in market or stop fly kites near Pigeon & Crow feeding area or near lakes. If you see any bird entangled thread on a tree or wire if in height, please call fire fire brigade or found such victim you found on roadside before informing animal welfare NGO, first give first aid by yourself so that if it is bleeding, it should be stop to save life of the bird by using household median or turmeric power and keep it in safe place. 

Birds Injured due to Manja call attended by PAWS-Mumbai team in 2012 Makar Sankranti till date is 2 Kite, 1 Pigeon, 1 Sparrow.
