CZA Inspection team will soon visit Mumbai Zoo

Member of Parliament Sanjay Dina Patil & Model – Actress Natasha Sikka have send letter to Central Zoo Authority on poor animal’s condition at Veermata Jijabai Bhosle Udyan  - Mumbai Zoo after Plant & Animals Welfare Society – Mumbai (PAWS-Mumbai) team have made surprise visit as a visitor  and published Citizen Inspection Report, which had exposed the poor pathetic living condition of caged animals. Following to that letter Member Secretary of Central Zoo Authority had send letters to Zoo Inspection Team requesting to carry out an enquiry into the matter, as evalution of the Mumbai Zoo is caring out for grant of renewal of the necessary action.

PAWS-Mumbai also started a national level campaign “We say NO to ZOO” in community site to unite citizen to raise voice against the poor living condition of animal at zoo’s across India. And as part of this campaign animal lovers across India helping us in preparing inspection report of Zoo's so its report is named as "Citizen Inspection Report" visit http://www.citizeninspectionreports.blogspot.com/ which are been send to concerned authorities.

PAWS-Mumbai also appeal to the citizen, if you ever visited any ZOO in India, that means you have been also witnessed the poor condition of jailed animals there. Do you think they are Criminals? Reply will be NO, then why should we keep silent as this zoo's are been run by we citizen tax payer money, let us use our People Power to awaken the sleeping authority that is responsible for the same said Sunish Subramanian Kunju, Secretary of PAWS-Mumbai.
