PAWS-Mumbai 15 Volunteers & 2 Rescue Van from Thane to Powai ready for Bird Rescue & First Aid Camp

1st Day Camp Report : Saturday, January 14, 2012, Plant & Animals Welfare Society - Mumbai (PAWS-Mumbai) team received only two calls of rescue from the area between Thane to Powai and success in saving the life of three bird (Pigeon). One of bird got small cut injury on neck and other two was entangled on glass coated thread. Its good sign that we got good response from citizen due to awareness created by animal welfare NGO’s. Birds Injured due to Manja call attended by PAWS-Mumbai team in 2012 Makar Sankranti till date is 2 Kite, 1 Sparrow, 1 Owl & 5 Pigeons.
